A vibrant democracy entails more than just elections and voting – a future-proof Switzerland needs a wide range of opportunities for the population to participate.
Nicolas Solenthaler is a project manager in the area of participation at Pro Futuris. Prior to that, he worked at Risiko-Dialog, ETH Zurich and Swissnex in Boston. Nicolas studied political science at ETH and the University of Zurich. For around eight years, he held leading positions in various civil society initiatives in the field of participation, including Discuss it, foraus and SRG Deutschschweiz (the German-speaking Switzerland section of Swiss public radio and television).
